Outi and Masa’s archipelago wedding in Sibbo, Finland was such a joy. I have totally fallen in love with forests and moss for the moment. And the the perfect not-perfected wedding Outi and Masa planned. It’s always about the people during a wedding. Even the small people like in this wedding story.

We felt that our wedding should be authentic and reflect who we are, rather than meet other peoples’ expectations of how weddings should be. So we kept it as natural and personal as possible. We wanted to share our special day with only the closest family and friends because we wanted to keep it intimate and laid-back gathering only about 40 guests including children.
The ceremony took place on a beautiful cliff with the view to the sea at our background. This cliff was one of the reasons we chose our venue. We didn’t want a church or private property as we can always paddle back to this magnificent place to spend our wedding anniversary. We wrote ourselves the wedding ceremony, which bound together the coordinates for our lives; the island where we got engaged and the island where we got married. Those dates and coordinates are now engraved in our rings.
