Portrait Sessions
I always do two shorter portrait sessions instead of a long one which will keep you away from your guest for hours. The first one before or after the ceremony during the day and the second one in the evening during Gold Time Hour. This is normally one hour before the sun sets. I need at least 30 minutes but I’m game for everything above that, most of my couples plans for at least one hour on both sessions.
When have you scheduled your portraits?
Family Portraits
I always encourage my couples to create a list for all the family shots b e f o r e the big day, start with the biggest group of people down to the smallest one. Give someone for example in your bridal party the responsibility for the list.
If you have planned for family portraits, when would like to do them?
Anything else you would like to add?
Could be anything you want me to know.
A friendly reminder of Food for the photographer
A photographer needs to eat. If no meal is provided, it is understood that me (and any potential assistent) will leave the event to purchase a meal. We also appreciate warm food. So please let the kitchen know that we want to be served at the same time as the wedding couple, so we’re ready to go for eventual sunset portraits and what ever will happen during dinner. I like food and have no allergies. Thank you!
